The Juhl Desk from Norfolk, England

For Karen, based in London

When Karen first told us she was looking for a desk for her new office, she didn’t know exactly what she wanted. “Something designer, but not too out there”. “I want it to hold its value, but I don’t want my place to look like a museum”.

This sounds vague at first, but our design team took this to heart and started sourcing. The first bite we got was a slightly different Juhl desk, a beautiful newer blue and white piece. This got a lot of excitement, but she was still moving in earthier rugs and decorations so was worried the colours weren’t a great fit. She was also looking for something a bit more vintage.

Our internal search engine, peach, took this feedback, and found a really similar piece on Ebay. A little bit more browsing and it found the seller’s website directly, and there was this beautiful multi-colour 1953 Juhl.

Karen absolutely loved it, and all that was left was to arrange the shipping directly.
